good little while the game has been out now - will finally have some time to play games as of next week so wonder if this is still living up to its billing as a great "elite clone"?

also, is it playable without a joystick?
 
Sorry, I can't help you, as I don't really know what kind of game it is. Though, everytime I see the title of the game, I always think of X-men. 😀
 
I almost bought this game right after it was released.....nothing else interested me at the time and I was looking for a new game fix. I know that there were a slewful of problems right after release.......wonky flight physics, problems fighting enemy effectively, huge save files, CTDs and others. There's an official forum somewhere but don't ask me where (bookmarked at my home computer). I suggest you find it and see if first, the bugs have been worked out and second, whether it's your cup of tea. Also might wander over to Gametab and check out the reviews. I understand it's a hardcore sim with a pretty big learning curve.
