That thing smokes. I wish I had one. Looks bad for intel, but i bet you that schools and other businesses will still go intel. I'm not saying Intel is bad, but just not as good as AMD.

Strange times. I bought my P4 3.06 in December of 2003, looks like I'll have this CPU almost 3 years before upgrading to a dual core system. I usually upgrade a little over once a year but things have been pretty stagnant for the last few years.

I do lots of video editing so the dually will be a biggie for me.

I also read that Advanced Micro Devices future dual-cores might support hyper-threading. pretty neat. I still miss those good old days where a 486 could be made by ten different companies.
