x2 4400+ MAX SAFE volts

I have a 4400+ currently sitting at 2.53 @ 1.44v. What is the the max safe voltage, running rig in sig. Thanks.
 
1.65 if you're feeling generous and aren't planning on keeping the chip for more than 6 months ~ a year. Other than that, you can go up to 1.6v fairly safely as long as your temps are under control.
 
The usual rule for safety is to keep vcore no more than 10% higher than stock. For a 1.35v vcore X2-4400+ that gives you up to around 1.485v before things get risky.
 
You can't assume a max safe vCore without taking temperature into account. I would try to keep the CPU under 55C (preferably under 50C) by SmartGuardian readings. See how high your CPU temp rise according to SmartGuardian, and try up to 1.55V. It will break 50C barrier before you reach 1.55V with air-cooling and that's usually where stability problem starts showing up. With decent air-cooling, 1.50V will often be pushing it to/over 55C but every CPU, HSF, environment are different so you'll have to test it out for yourself. When overclocking, there is no such thing as max safe voltage. 😉
 
I agree with 10% for safe and 15% for a tad more....I ran mine at 2.66ghz with 1.52-1.53v. Ultimately I let it run 24/7 at 2.53ghz with only 1.44-1.45v
