X2 3800+ temp question

My X2 3800 idles at 35 C core 0 and 27 C core 1. Under 100% load I get 55 C core 0 and 62 C core 1. I can't understand why the coolest core at idle is the hottest core under load. Heat sink is an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. Both the heatsink and the heat spreader have been lapped and are flat. Both were slightly concave when new. I'm running at 2.7 GHz with the voltage at 1.36 volts.

sounds pretty normal.. you're ocing.
did you tried at default speed to see the temp difference

Temps are lower at stock but they vary the same way. Core 0 highest at idle, lowest under load.

My X2 939 has similar temp differences...anywhere from 5-8C delta between cores.
