When id went to install my new x2 3800 retail edition. I wanted to overclock it to about 2.2ghz or 2.4ghz. I was going to reuse my thermaltake venus. Well id clean it off from my old cpu. well when id went to go put on some new thermalpaste. Id couldnt find any. Id have no clue were the stuff went. Id had a 1 of antec silver 3 and 1 of antec silver 5 and another one but all 3 are missing :(. So right now im just using the retail heatsink.

Like jiffylube1024 said, have fun removing the stock HSF and TIM. Be careful, that SOB gets really sticky and it can rip your CPU out of the socket (I learned from experience :Q ).

a nice razor blade, and then 99% isopropyl will take it right off.
