I've got an x1950pro that's about 3 months old and it has an annoying flicker with certain apps. For example, when playing spider solitare, the screen will blink out and the display will have a remnant (such as a stack of cards) that shouldn't be there. It seems that the invalidate rectangle message is missed or "optimized out" since minimizing and restoring the window fixes the remnant. Also, another flicker will fix the remnant.
3D apps play fine. I've got a dual monitor setup and this happens on both my DVI and VGA connections. I did have a slight OC but the problem persists at stock settings. I'm running Cat 7.2 under XP SP2.:disgust:
