Reciently my video card fried (X800XL), and for a replacement, the company that I bought it from offered me a X1900XTX or something equivalent to that card. The prospect of a free upgrade to that makes me pretty giddy, but the problem is that I only got a 420-430W Antec TruePower Power supply. Would I have to upgrade my power supply or would it be enough?

It may be fine, depending on what else you have. I know someone who runs the XT model on that PSU with no problems.

I ran my x1900xtx on a 450 watt true power for awhile without any troubles. What company is offering this upgrade btw, that's a pretty nice thing to do.

You are all good. I ran my ATI X1900XT on my Antec 430 (from my Sonata 2 box) with NO ISSUES.

I would change that stock cooler though that comes on that card for an aftermarket one. Then use ATI tray tools instead of CCC and you will note (at least with mine) that I could run XTX speeds at even LESS voltage than my original stock XT. Not only but it was virtually silent and kept real cool.

Great upgrade... gratz!

Actually, they upgraded it even further to the X1950XTX. Anyways, it was a local business that uses a 3rd party company that provides extended warranty coverage. Good people working there too. They took a look at my computer and they said it should handle the X1950XTX, so im holding them to their word. If not, im going to be pissed =).

BTW, I got the PSU wrong (been a while since I looked at it), it is a OCZ Powerstream, not an Antec.

Yeah, I think it will be OK, unless you've got a whole army of peripherals feeding off that PSU (multiple HDD, optical drives, etc.). I've run a 1900XTX on my 450W for well over a year with zero issues; I can't imagine a 430W being that much different.

Cool, I only got 1 HDD, 1 optical drive, and 1 floppy (I should not even mention this haha), thats about it. I was just worried about the drain when it was being taxed. Compared to my X800XL, there is a huge difference.

That's a different matter then. The OCZ 420W is quite underrated and is comparable to a lot of 500W+ units. It will handle that card easily.

I wouldn't worry about that OCZ 420w. That's one of the stronger 420w power supplies available. Nice upgrade!
