I just purchased this card from newegg for 239.99. I thought it was very cheap and iam coming from a 7800gt. My bro is gonna have my 7800gt while iam getting a x1900xt. So iam just wondering if this was a good buy, I knw someone might say wait for dx10 but iam not really in a hurry for it. Also I have a fortron 450wat psu and it worked fine with my 7800gt, will it do ok with this card?
 
Alright, awesome. I didnt really care if it had 512mb, since I guess its one of the few that have 256mb. And i dont really upgrading my cpu since i have a amd64 3200+. I think it will do fine. I just remembered I paid 450 for a 7800gt just a year ago.
 
That's the card I'm planning on getting, looks like the value to beat ATM. Only a 4fps decrease in most games... @ 1600x1200 over the 512mb version.
