Probably went with a lower resolution since he's comparing FX-60 (dual core) to a FX-55. Nice little performance gain, too, for 10x7.

These are the same benchmarks we keep seeing, it still has the name blacked out so I'm not going to believe it until I see it with the name

yeah seems wierd to only put 1024x768.

ive tried checking a site that only benches FEAR at that low resolution.

tomshardware FEAR benchies has x1800xt with 52 fps average compared to x1900xt with 113fps average. However not quite same settings, same resolution but Toms had soft shadows on. Not sure how taxing soft shadows is on FEAR.

The 12k 3dmark05 overclocked score is good but not awesome improvement though. But real games more important??

Perhaps, but if you're going to break NDA, I think what most people want to see is a setting they would actually run.

I personally don't doubt these are real, am just perplexed by the choice resolution and AA/AF.

With the lauch still 2 weeks away, I think we'll know all we need to about the x1900xtx before then.

I'm sure everyone but you wants to know as much as they can before then RobertR1, and I came across this. Seemed newsworthy.

Maybe cronic doesnt know that an x1800xt would hand his 7800 it's GT moniker back to him retitled as PG

Seems like the thread at VRZone will be ongoing so lets all stay tuned b4 questioning the reason for any one benchmark.

is that your card , if it is then go change your background. Go in pain and make any background and write anandtech or your name and then take screenshot because i don't believe thoes scores.

It sounds about right. I get 13150 something with the same cards at 500/1150mhz.

Anyway, this FEAR benchmark is rather useless due to the 10x7 setting.

The xbit benchmarks indicate that it's actually a bit slower than the old 8x boards though.

Er...why bother covering up what it says near GFX: when they tell us it's a X1900 anyway? Is that not what it actually is or something?

Thanks for the link though. This looks like a very promising card if these scores are indeed true.

After-realization: Oh. It's 20K 3dmark03, not 3dmark05? What a disappointment. :p

You're SLI'd dude. 7800GT (single) often gets it's a$$ handed to it by a X1800XT.

Unless 3DMark05 is geared 100% toward shader capability, I'll call shens on this score. It looks more like it would be Crossfired X1900XT's.
