Hello,

Will x1900XT (512Mb) price justify performance increase vs x1900GT (256Mb)?
Where current lower prices are $200 for GT and $300 for XT

What XT can give vs GT on 1920x1080 monitor?

I know that newer "GT" as x1900 Pro will be based on 80nm, but that is more then a month a way.

What do you think?

p.s. any one got 7900GS from woot already?

At that resolution, I would say it's worth it. But I don't game at that res...so I may opt for the GT in my other thread.

thanks, but no NV any more
I had had 7900GT KO for 3 weeks and was happy for the first 3 days after that all kind of artifacts, freezing, lockup / reboot were happened.

Fortunately I got my money back, didn't want to play RMA game.

But, 7900 GT KO was very fast card if only it worked well.

sorry I misunderstood when you asked if anyone got in on the "woot" deal. I thought you wanted one (7900GS)

at 1920x1080 the x1900 xt would allow u turn up the settings a bit more and in some cases at the same settings, the x1900 xt might be getting playble fps where as the x1900 gt won't.
The x1900 xt has the clock speed advantage along with 12 pixel shaders and 4 pixel pipes.

For that resolution the x1900xt is definitely worth the price over the x1900gt. For example, in many games the xt gets higher fps at 1600x1200 than the gt gets at 1280x1024. It's a big difference.
