Well I've just ordered all of my PC with the exception of a Motherboard & Video card.

For a while I've been set on getting a 7600GT for my new Core 2 build which I'll only be playing BF:2/2142 on. After doing some research I saw that ATI had a new card out that performs about 15 percent better for about 30 dollars more.

What do you all think? x1900GT? Or what? I'm not looking to pay more then $215 for the graphics card if that helps at all.

The x1900gt is more on the level of a 7900gt, so it's definitely worth the $30 difference.

What company is better? I've had a Saphire 9600pro for a long time now and its been good to me. Should I just go Saphire? or is there anohter manufactuer that is considered more reliable?

This is proboly a stupid question but: The x1900GT is capapble of everything the 7900GT is capable of right? HDR, SM3.0, AA, AF, all that stuff?

X1900GT is better than 7600GT and a tiny bit below a 7900GT. Sapphire is a great manufacturer - they make ATI's OEM cards. I've owned 3 Sapphire cards; all have equalled ATI's in quality.

Re: features: yes, the X1900GT does everything the 7900GT does and one more: the X1900GT supports HDR + AA at the same time, which the 7xxx series does not support. The X1900GT also supports high quality AF, which the 7xxx series does not.

Otherwise, both cards support HDR, SM 3.0, AA and AF.
