x1900gt for sale by Dell?

I'm a bit confused.

It claimes 48 Pixel Shaders, costs $410, and only has 256MB. Most reports had the x1900gt with 36 pixel shaders (12 pipes) and costing closer to $350...

Is this real?

they probably just took the general X1900 series description from ATI. dont trust it.

Hmmm....considering that I hit a bunch of major tech sites (here, tomshardware, firingsquad, guru3d) at least a couple of times everyday...I wouldn't say that I was in a 'hole'.

I knew that the GT was due to be released soon (or not so soon depending on reports) but I hadn't heard that any were on sale.

I really didn't take offense I was just confused seeing it on Dell's site. I wonder if they have it mixed up with the x1900 AIW.

First its Nvidia which confuses users by Branding their Value Cards XT while ATI has the better ones named XT

Now ATI starts naming their Value cards GT while Nvidia names them GL or something.

For sure gonna confuse the ****** out of the avergae joe and not to mention spawn a hundred threads with the title so Is the 6600XT better than the 1900GT?
