Tried running Battlefield 2 (patch 1.4) on XP Pro x64 and I'm getting some pretty bad screen flickering. The problem only exists when I have xfire enabled. Running only 1 X1900 solves the problem.

Do you guys think it's a problem with the 1.4 patch and xfire or just the combination of XP x64, CF, and BF2??

The only other thing I've tried in XP x64 while running xfire is 3dmark 06 and it ran fine.
I will try some COD2 and Oblivion later today and see what happens. I like that XP x64 sees all 4GB's of my ram but I hope it's not the cause of my BF2 + CF problems.

The performance is still there but the flickering is real annoying. I've tested various resolutions and refresh rates but the problem doesn't go away until I disable crossfire.

Any ideas?

WinXP Pro 64 = :(. I used it for a while on my A64 3000+ but as far as I'm concerned it's nothing more than a fleeting novelty. It's something MS threw the 64-bit crowd to stop them thinking of an Ubuntu 64-bit dual boot. Not everything works quite perfectly.

To address your problem, it might be crossfire support on Win64 that's the problem seeing as it works fine with one card.

Inexperience can lead to many things. IMO the less you fiddle with CCC and the drivers, the better.

THat said, I would use Warcats 6.6 chuck cos they give the best Crossfire performance, IMO. Also, I use 10xSSAA 16xHQAF for BF2 -- that should work better than getting 100+ fps all the time.
