Not according to that review, lol. That review puts them pretty much neck & neck. Driver improvements are due on X1900 which should pull it into the lead on most if not all counts.
 
While top of the line SLI/Crossfire configurations can run between $1,500 and $2,000

No... that would be SLI only. Crossfire is considerably less than that. At just over $1100 for a retail XT and XTX, then add another $100 for a motherobard. Thats not anywhere near $2000, or for that matter $1500.

You might want to read that article again. It was a draw with the XTX winning some and losing some and the difference being slim in either case.
