I would at least use some oc programs like ATItools to make sure that the card is capable of running at those speed first.

A more pertinent question is will it work with my soon to be delivered powercolor X1800XT. :p

Let me know how you get on mate.

mmmmmmmm I don't see anywhere it says that BIOS is intended for the 256MB version of the 1800xt. I bet it's for the 512MB version. I'd contact Sapphire first to see if they have a new version for your card.

So these bios are from Sapphire?

I really would like a nice speed bump. You think this would be good with my Sapphire 512 MB X1800XT?

From what I've read so far today this BIOS should work on all 512MB cards. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use ATI Tool to OC to 700/800 first to make sure it can handle it, but if it was me, I'd go ahead and flash it and if I get artifacts or something, flash it back. Just make sure to dump your BIOS before flashing so you have a backup.

Just use something like RivaTuner so that it starts up everytime with the OC's so you DON"T have to flash a bios.

If it does, who cares because it would still be covered under Sapphire's warranty, considering they put out the BIOS.
