X1800XL VIVO good or bad?

I have recently upgraded my motherboard to a PCI-E variant and was looking to purchase an X1800XL for around $200. I had considered the XT and a 7900GT, however im using a micro ATX board and the XTs dual slot cooler will limit me to 1 PCI slot and the 7900GT lacks VIVO for the $200 price range i am looking at. I was just wondering how good the Quality of VIVO is on the X1800XL and if it would be better to purchase a midranged graphics card without VIVO and go for a $40 video capture card?
