X1800GTO Vs ? ??

Hey,
I had my eye on 256 MB X1800GTO card from Sapphire. But it is way over my budget at around 310$ . Can you recommend anything a little cheaper with good performance and decent value for money? Below the X1800 what is good? X800 or wht? What anout nVidia cards??

WHAT? 310 for a GTO? your crazy. u can almost get x1900xt's for that much.

GTO's should be around 150-190

He lives in India, so prices are inflated.


If you can, look for a 7600GT. performs well, and it should be pretty cheap in India.

Yes, a 7600GT (esp an OC'd one) can often outperform a X1800GTO. However there is the possibility of unlocking to X1800XL with the GTO.

i woulda take the GTO over the 7600 gt even if it didnt unlock. overclocks better and voltage control
