X1300 Low profile card question

Bought a used dell x1300 ati pull. Didn't realize that it was dvi only - I have a dsub monitor. The dvi to dsub adapter would work with this card, right?



Also unrelated to the card above - can you put a low profile card into a normal case? I know you can't bolt it, but will it work?

yes a dvi adapter will work on the low profile dell x1300 (I used one until i got a 7600gs low profile)

yes you cna use it in a full size slot if you get another bracket to change out the low profile bracket, unless you just let it sit there (have to bend the one part of the brack to make it sit even though)

Could you simply take the bracket off and let it sit there?
