I have an x10 2.4ghz wireless audio/video sender. I am trying to hook it up to an ATI Radeon VE 7000 dual display card with tvout. I am using the RCA cable. The picture has lines, and the sound is a little staticky. The only other wireless I have is a cordless phone, but most are 900mhz except for one 2.4. The only other problems I could think of is that my cable modem is next to my computer, or that I have X10 wireless modules around the house for lamps and stuff. I tried switching the cable modem off, but no change. Any ideas?

I have the same X10 video sender, it usually works perfectly but it seems like some days are better than others. I also have a boatload of X10 lighting modules, those shouldn't cause any problems for you. I think mainly that the units are VERY picky when it comes to orienting the antennas.

Did you try unplugging the 2.4 GHz phone? All my phones are 900 MHz, but I do have a 802.11b wireless network that runs at a nominal 2.4 GHZ. It doesn't cause any interference, though.

Do you live in an apartment or condo where you have neighbors very close by? Maybe some of their junk is causing your interference.

I also have this device. Try changing channels on the devices. Make sure the microwave isn't running else you will get interference. You can try turning off the 2.4 Ghz phone. How far away is your receiving from the transmitter??

Usually when I get no color that means I have to adjust the antennas. Sometimes they don't point at each other - that signal bounces around so the strongest signal may not be in a direct line between the sender and receiver. Good luck!
