Looking for like 5 cheap cases
The shipping is almost as much as the cases @ most places

I live in michigan my step father is a truck driver
and goes in alot of directions at least a few states away he might pickup for me

anybody know of any warehouses that may deal with me??
 
Buying 5 Cases hardly qualifies for 1 discount as most Cases are shipped from overseas in Bins {Semi Trailer Loads} which receive the biggest discount.
Your bet bet is to check a place like pricewatch or look for a sale and ask the Co. for a disount on shipping...
 
The only other way to get better pricing on hardware like that is to get setup with a distributor. As a kid, you won't be able to do that. They also won't give a crap what your father does. With distributors, you might luck out and they have a warehouse close to you where you can pick items up. Then again, shipping is usually a decent rate with them. The only way to get a better rate (that I know of) on shipping is if you're willing/able to purchase an entire pallet of items. Then again, you typically need a loading dock for that, which houses don't have.

Try to find a small, local, reseller and see if he can give you a break on the per item cost if you purchase 5 or more at a time. They MIGHT do that, then again, they probably won't.

& I just know my stepfather comes back empty alot and may pickup if Im not going that far

Look at bottom cases for under $6.00 and shipping to me is $7.00

For whatever reason, (at least for me) I get directed to the European site.
Scrole down to the bottom left, find the American flag, click, click flag again at next page.
Then find computers at top, cases and barebones in pull down menu. At the bottom you will see some cases for under 6 bucks. I ordered the KG-318 last week. Should be Tuesday. Not the greatest looking case but, it will do for the kids.
 
There are several fairly large PC parts dealers in Ohio adamant.com is one. Perhaps you can place and pay for the order from michigan (saving sales tax) and your dad can pick up at will-call (you "pre-paid" the shipping of course, saving the shipping). Another in the upper-Midwest area is MPCParts.com. You may be able to arrange something with any of these. Newegg used to sell some cases w/ free shipping - but it doesn't happen very often any more - check the clearance and refurb sections. Just think on it...
