I'm looking for an x-terminal emulator for windows. I know it exists, but I just can't seem to find it. Thanks a lot!

I can't think of a single emulator. I think cygwin has an X implimentation, and hummingbird's exceed is pretty good.

XNS makes one called XNS x-term but it costs money, and i'm pretty sure there is a free one out there

We use Hummingbird eXceed at work to get xterms on our windows boxes. It's really easy to use even for unix newbies.

Tell us what you think a xterm is, and we will tell you what you need to do to get one. Because I think what you think is a xterm, isn't what a xterm is.

here you said you want a free version of this

I don't know why they call it a xterm emulator. It's just a terminal emulator. That's what a xterm, so they say it's a xterm emulator, they are a saying:
It emulates a emulator that emulates a terminal as a X Windows client in X Server enviroment, which isn't what it is. It's a telnet client.

You want this putty
