So i have a X-Qpack with a 6800gt and its overheating causing problems during gaming. I plan to change from the stock cooler to the AC nv5 but will it fit? There should be enough room where the fan rises over the pcb as it should clear the cd-rom mount, but does anyone know for sure?

I have a 6600 and a 6800 and both over heat during gaming...I have tried many many after market fans and such...they still over heat.

If I had to do it over again I would spend more money on better vid cards.
But thats the area I decided to scrimp in.....

try it out if you have space on the motherboard. I don't think the height's gonna be an issue, but on the motherboard, the card covers 2.5 PCI slots.

try fliping the back fan to blowing in i had vid card heat probs with a 7800gt in my x-qpack and that fixed it up.
