Who is picking up X-men on DVD today?

easter eggs taken from aint it cool news:

When it first opens the menu you will be on "Theatrical Trailer A". Press the left arrow on your remote and a rose will be highlighted. Entering this one will bring up a funny outtake with Halle Berry (Storm), Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) and James Marsden (Cyclops), with a cameo by your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Yes, THE Spider-Man.

The second is in the Art Gallery. After entering the menu Highligh the Main Menu option at the bottom of the
screen. Then press up on the remote and Wolverine's dogtags will be highlighted. This will bring up some early
sketches and character designs from the crew at Industrial Light and Magic, who were origianally doing the FX, for
the characters of The Blob and, best of all, The Beast.

X-men has 10 minutes of additional footage Im not sure what it is yet though.
According to dvd express they both have deleted scenes, Gladiator is a 2 disc set.

Gladiator is a 2 disc set with additional and deleted scenes. As for how much it's hard to tell but 2 disc sets are usually chocked full of extras.

heard the extra 10 minutes in xmen uses some branching feature not all dvd players support. you can turn the extra scene(s) on or off and the dvd player if it supports it will play either version seamlessly. pretty cool

I don't see why people are so proud of their divx rips:p So much is missing picture quality/ surround sound, and tons of bonus features/commentary tracks. Its not expensive, just rent!

renting cost money to.

I have about 30-40 dvdrips at home, 2-3 here at work, and about 10 on the web. It would cost me sooo much to buy them all, this is cheap :)

Dvd rental is cheap, just use netflix.com, 20bux a month unlimited. It might cost more then downloading, but if your going to spend 2 hours watching something, you might as well get enjoy the real deal with all the extras.

I just love how, given a choice of spending $20 for a 2-disc DVD with all the trimmings or a pirated DivX, they'll go for the inferior ripoff AND brag about how l337 they are. <shakes head>

it truly depends on what the movie is...it is pointless to have a rip of the matrix or something of that nature. movies like office space rule ripped...

got x-men and gladiator today on DVD...i like the package for x-men

Got X-men yesterday. Watched it last night. The additional 10min of footage should have been included in the movie. From the clips it was also apparent that there is a bunch more additional footage out there on the cutting room floor that they should have put on the DVD. Bloody murder. The art stuff it great though, it's cool to see the artists conceptions of what the chars should look like.

You have some $hitty equipment if you think that is even near dvd quality. I've encoded divx up to 2000kbs and it still doesn't match it.
