For x-men 1, I dont understand the very beginning of the movie. he scene that takes place in 1944 poland. What is that whole scene about?

I have one more x-men 1 questions for you guys.

When rogue went to that fight club towards the beginning of the movie. Did she know wolverine was there? Or they just happen to be at the same place at the same time?

Shows Magneto's powers coming to fruition when he witnesses his parents being dragged away from him at a Nazi death camp.

They are taking Magneto away from his mother. As he is being carried away he, unknowingly, is using his power to bring down that fence.

Nazi death camp, the young get separated from the older to be put in work camps. The old are gassed and then burnt in the furnaces. I know a guy who lived through the camp. Horrible stuff.

But the Jews should be exterminated just like the Nazis tried.

That dude is truly a nutball.

Also, I think it is to show Magneto being discriminated against for being different. Which grows into him hating all humans for him being discriminated against as a mutant.

Nazis were going to make him wear pieces of flair.

You have been here long enough to have an understanding of what the definition of common sense is.

And if the Holocaust really DID happen, Israel should be formed in Germany, not "Palestine." ROFL.

all i know is it's starts with Ahme and ends with jad

i think the scene is to show a few things...first liek most mutants he first exhibits his powers when put under great stress...he being sperated from his parents and them being dragged off to be killed

then the sense of persecution for being different..first because of his family's believes then as a mutant...

also that whoever has power gets to be 'superior' or in control...so now he and the mutants are superior to regular hmans so they should be in power

Yes I think so. It also shows that it's our childhood trauma, the self hate that we could not stop the disasters we have been through and now repress that turns us into the very monstrosities that create our trauma.

That was actually probably the best scene in the entire three films and one of the few that stayed true to the source materials...
