Can't be any better than a mouse, and I don't see how it works anyway. Is it like the duck hunt gun for NES?

no the base is optical and mouse1 would be the trigger and i guess mouse2 is the side button or something

I guess it'll give you the feeling of pulling a trigger -- you'll still have to move that big gun around (just like a mouse) but you'll be actually pulling the trigger to shoot!

Of course, this can go wrong if you're in the real-world, holding a real gun, and not aiming right because you've gotten used to aiming low (e.g., table top)
