My parents need something to get me for X-mas and my birthday in January, so I'm looking for BOOK reccomendations.

What good books would you reccomend on any of the following topics:

Java
C
C++
Web Development ( no frickin basic HTML books, something interesting and meaningful )
Program Design / Development / Theory
 
Just get a gift certificate. I started to list books, but I have so many to name it would take me too long. Do you have any books currently? Just get a GC and get what you want...
