On a related note, Netflix has put up HD or at least upscaled the original X-Files, badly. It's in 16:9 now too unfortunately.

Yes I am, and many on this forum were as well. I have the ufo poster in my office.

All of them are in the cast, and Anderson is super hot.

Nirvana is awesome.

First time I watched The X-Files I was like KOOL! After that came Sightings with Tim White.

I like the Lone Gunmen show too, but they only made like four episodes.

Yeah, the originals in the cast are coming back, has been known awhile now, I guess.

You've at least gotten better since you have gotten off your Glen Beckish flow chart spams.

I never watched The X-Files when it was on TV during it's many seasons...I always thought it was pretty stupid.

Recently, out of sheer boredom, I started watching it on NetFlix. My initial opinion appears to be correct...but it's entertainingly stupid...I'm not sure...but I THINK I'm still somewhere in Season 1.

I really liked the original show. I liked it enough that I'd consider buying it on dvd. I'm a little afraid of seeing a new series. Sometimes it kills the magic, and tarnishes the whole thing.

That's before Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad writer) came on board.

The original was shot in HD and cropped for TV, so the information to do a seamless widescreen was already present on the tapes. The new HD has been completely remastered and looks freaking great.
