thee are a lot of things in the X-Files that are put there by the writer/creator.

like birthday's... clock times... etc.

you guys noticed that scully have a problem with the winking right eye?

I've the complete series on DVD and it is easy to notice watching all the episodes.

Ah, I'm just catchin some episodes on the sci fi channel whilst studying VHDL for my midterm at 5 today and noticed this. I miss the x-files.

It's the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, to be precise.

*great* comedy, but the movie sucked. About the only resemblance to the books were the names of the characters.

One of the characters on the children's PBS show "In Between the Lions" wears a jersey with the number 42 on it, and it's a reference to the same thing :)
