Is there a review comparing these two? Does the 64mb of x-ram on the fatal1ty really increase frame rates?

It increases e-penis and decreases money from your bank account. X-Ram is total BS

What he said... Oh, and stop giving that guy royalties. "Finish Him" was cooler than "Fatality", considering I could never do the fatality move:(. Well, the cool ones at least.

It's like slapping the name of a basketball player on a pair of shoes and selling it to stupid teenagers for $120 a pop. They still can't hit that layup even with them on. :)

Basically the game must be coded to use the x-ram and currently only one game is, UT2004 (that I know of).

It's coded in there, but it makes the game even less stable. YMMV obviously.

"X-RAM" is just a cheap 64MB SDRAM chip as opposed to the slightly cheaper 2MB "standard" on all all X-Fi DSP cards. If Creative wanted to raise the bar, they should have included the former on all such models and raised the prices a few bucks. Alas, it will likely remain a gimmick.
