Did a search, didn't see where there was any type of resolution.
Basically I don't want to buy the Platinum version for the 5.25 bay.
I want to run a 2.1 setup and hookup my headset w/mic.
My local radioshack didn't have any y-cables only an audio switchbox.

It might be possible to hookup the front bay audio on my sonata to the X-FI (not certain about the connections on the x-fi though), any thoughts?
Anyone know where to get any Y-Cables or something similar in case I can't get the FP audio to work?
Basically I'm tired of hooking and unhooking speakers and headset when I want to switch.
Thanks for your input!

That white connection on the X-Fi card itself is apparently proprietary, though it does work with the front headphone port on my Dell (which had a Sblive! 24-bit before the X-Fi, same exact connection). I don't know if that's by design or coincidence...probayyl a deal worked out between Creative and Dell is my guess. Anyway, it works flawlessly...plugin my headphones and the X-fi switches to headphone setup.

I don't know what the audio hookup on the sonata looks like, but most cases do not work with the X-Fi's connection....though there may be an adapter I haven't seen.
