I am not sure what needs to be left alone or can be nuked just to stop from loading a wasted application on start.
Anyone nuke a few of these services or is it crucial to leave them on ?

DLLML
CTHELPER
CTXFIHLP
CTDdetect.....seems that one is not needed really

Thanks if you know if any of these can be hosed and not lose quality or a important process.

and man, the 5500 speakers are pretty nice and that woofer is one big mother.
I could not believe the size of the box and the weight!
If heavy means quality...

DLLML.exe is a process which belongs to the Creative DLL Module Loader. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

cthelper.exe is installed with Creative Labs Soundblaster Devices. It's purpose is to aid 3rd party developers create plugins/software for the card. In this way it is a non-essential system process and can be removed from the task-bar/startup.

ctxfihlp.exe is usually added by the installation of a Creative Labs X-Fi sound card. This particular process provides the help functionality for your card. This is considered to be a non-essential program, so it can be safely disabled. However, Creative Labs, for some reason, has set ctxfihlp.exe to run every time your computer starts up.

CTDetect.exe is a process belonging to the Creative Labs Soundblaster CD/DVD Alerter. This program is a non-essential process, and is installed for ease of use and can be safely removed.

hope this helps
