X-fi software & tray applet?

I recently reinstalled Windows XP (after attempting to live with Vista). I went to the Creative site and grabbed the latest drivers, but for some reason they didn't install the little applet in the tray?!?! I can't even seem to access that advanced panel at all, only the basic panel in the Control Panel.

How do I install the X-fi software in such a way to get the blue applet and advanced settings menu back? Is there another piece of software that I'm missing here?

Got it... volume control and mode changer on the Creative CD only, not for download. Trick is to install from the original CD, with 'drivers' unchecked. Sorry for the waste of bytes. 😛
