X-fi Platnium Question

Just got new computer with the X-Fi Platnium. My question is, using the front side panel - it doesnt seem to work at all. The volumn doesnt affect anything.

Also my old Koss Headphones jack doesnt fit right in the headphones jack. ( My headphones have a smaller input ). What sort of adapter is needed?

I feel stupid asking... guess i have fallen way behind the times.

Note, everything else with the SB drivers seem fine, I plug my headphones into the back of the computer and every thing sounds good, I just cant use the front panel controls or input jacks with any success

Volume knob only affects the headphone volume and Mic volume.

It should have come with an adapter to make your headphone jack (1/8") to a full 1/4".

Make sure the front panel is connected via the supplied cable.
