x-fi extreme gamer has no more surround

hi I have had this x-fi extreme gamer fatal1ty for about 8 months. about a month or so ago the rear speakers just stoped working. I tried reinstalling with no luck. I reinstalled my onboard sound and everything works. I noticed some white discoloration on the backside of my card. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

I am running a gigabyte 965p-s3 rev1 board with the f8 bios e6600 x1800xt 2gb patriot ram on XP
 
Wrong board.. but you have a problem with the sound card, since integrated works. You should probably look into RMA'ing it..
