I just purchased a used X-FI Elite pro recently, installed it, it's all been fine..
But I have the following issues - and I would really like to know if these are totally normal for an X-FI Sound card..
- Whenever I change between Game Mode and Entertainment mode or Audio Creation mode, there is a static click on the card as well as something audio-wise that normally would indicate a power surge to me...
- the headphone jack (or at least the one I believe is labelled that) does not notice when I plug in something, and it appears to have static noise continually going through it. I am thinking this may indicate I have installed it improperly, but I am not really sure.
Any advice, tips, help, etc.. would be appreaciated.
