soo... you think it would be bad to just enable my integrated audio and have audio streaming from there?

you know what sounds stupid, to get another X-fi Xtreme music card just for doing this. I'm not thinking about doing it, but it would be pretty funny, conflicting hardware profiles?

Shouldnt be a problem... although would be expensive....

Hmm... couldn't you do it just by getting another sound card? If you're going to go that route, you can get a Chaintech AV-710 (which is something around $30 and is great for music).
