On the Ultra website, they say there's 34a on the 12v line. Is this true, or is Ultra just stuffing their results?

The Ultra X-Connect is not a good choice for a PSU. Do some more checking around if you don't believe me. First, Ultra is part of the TigerDirect group (Tiger DIrect, Systemax, Infotel, Ultra and whatever else) - that should be enough of a red flag for most. Second, there are no latches on most of the connectors at the PSU, so the cables can work loose and/or fall out. Third, take a look at all the empty space inside the X-Connect's case - should there be that much in a 500W PSU?

I already have 1... I took the time to make a tape latch for the inportant plugs, ie the graphx card, and the HDD. Ultra already put latches on the 20 pin and 4 pin(however crappy they are...) The thing is really silent, and the cables just need to be heated with a hair-dryer to bend easily.
