WXGA screens for gaming

are these any good for gaming? can you change to resolution to most native gaming resolutions (1024x768) or do you have to play at a wide screen format?

You can always bump it down to 1024x768 and play with black bars on the side, still looks very good. Or you can play stretched, and depending on the game, it is either unnoticable, or annoying.

Does this work with all games?

Also, does playing at the nonnative res make it look bad?
