Are these specials in the normal store area or the e-bay area? They do seem to have some good prices (golden orb FC-PGA for $10.99 plus they sell artic silver)... Hrm... Tempting!

I have done business with them directly on a couple occasions. They seem to be a decent outfit.

That site has decent prices but they need to get some more content.

Anyone interestedin this place might want to check out The Overclockerz Store. In spite of their use of Z in place of S they seem to have good stuff and decent prices. I have not recieved a reply to an e-mail I sent them but when I ordered a HSF I got it no troubles. I know most of you already know about it but someone might find it novel.

Stay away from the Overclockerz Store and whatever their latest reincarnation is .. OC Toyz or PC Toyz or whatever. Bad people. Even the owner tried to post positive feedback to make his crappy company look better on resellerratings.com and got caught ... then attempted to do it AGAIN. What a loser company.

I'm sticking to my favorite place to shop for computer equip, www.allstarshop.com

hey i got a stock HSF that came with the Pentium 866. Do you think a Chrome Orb would be louder or quieter? The stock HSF is the loudest fan in my computer... and its an Antec SX830 with 2 80MM fans and a power supply fan.. lol

Back to the main subject, OverclockedCPUs.com: Shipping seems reasonable.

0031 Golden Orb FC-PGA Cooler - Click Here for Specs! 1 $10.99 $10.99
0038 GlobalWin FOP38 - Click Here for Specs! 1 $21.49 $21.49
Shipping: UPS Ground: $6.42
Total: $38.90

Two fans for $6.42 shipping. Not bad. Email confirmation came within 15 seconds of hitting Confirm on order! I didn't pay via PayPal, I just went with old fashioned Visa.

Last Dec. I bought a Golden Orb from them with preapplied arctic silver for $12.50 plus $3.50 shipping and they sent it priority mail. Had no problems with them and I payed through paypal.

So, am I the only one who ordered? I got a shipping confirmation from UPS at 8:40am, not bad for an order placed at 3:20pm the day before (and I am on PST, so the order was actually placed at 6:20pm overclockedcpus.com in EST).

-- The shipment was sent on 2001-01-30 by:
-- TECH WURKZ
-- 3835, HILLSDALE, DR
-- OLIVE BRANCH, MS, 38654, 7059, US,
-- and is scheduled for delivery on 2001-02-06.
