I can keep 4 movies out for $21.xx/month, they charge tax now. Takes about a week to ship my movies from Georgia out to Cali and get a new movie back to Georgia. Pretty cool service. I just add movies I wanna see to my rental queue and they showup when they showup... I'm always surprised at what movies I get to watch this week.

Figure if you're efficient you could watch at least 10 movies a month. That'd cost $40 at Blockbuster, but you don't get the convience of getting a move for "tonight." You kinda have to plan ahead. But if you don't have time to watch a movie you don't have to worry about being charged late fees.

Never had any troubles with them.

I signed up for the free month of rentals, rented a few movies, then cancelled my mempbership. Just checked my CC statement, and found that they billed me for the cost of three of the DVD's that I rented----and I mailed the movies back almost 2 wks. ago. If you live somewhere that you can get the movies in a couple of days, it would be a good service---it took at least 5 days for the movies to get to me, so it wasn't worth it.

snakesnfrogs--they did the same thing to me. Luckily I used a Webcertificate with no credit. They emailed me to tell me that they tried to charge my card and it was denied. I wrote them back telling them that I sent my last 3 movies back way before the date they had to be in by and that I would not give them a valid CC to charge. They wrote back and said OK. Nice of them, but I shouldn't have been charged in the first place for slow shipping.

werk----I sent them an e-mail, but god only knows when I'll get a reply. Tried to call them, but of course the customer service hrs. are only from 9-5, so I guess I'll have to call them in the morning and get this straight. And since I cancelled the membership, I can't check to see if the movies have actually made it back to them yet. SH!T SH!T SH!T

I just signed up a couple of weeks ago. It seems like it would be a lot better deal for people in California than for us on the East Coast. Overall though, the selection is unbeatable.

The good thing about them is tehy have a huge catalog.
You can get movies there you would never get at your local store on VHS, never mind DVD.

Sure they have a few problems....and I have had a few movies go AWOL en route, but just reported them as lost on their site and they sent me another one.

Works for me

i had them for a while and THEY SUCK in my opinion. never can get new releases, they don't send them out when they say the do (check the postmark to see) i know they receive it before they say they do. if you don't get the new releases the day it comes out, you can forget about getting it for months. service is bad. at one time they rocked, but they obviosly expanded their users without scaling their movie availability effective. after about a month, you start to realize you are only getting old movies. it gets annoying.
