WWW Domain Registration Question

Question for all of you out there...I can't seem to find this answer anywhere!

I'm getting on the bandwagon and registering a domain name for myself to use for email and such. Here's my problem, the domain that I want has been registered by someone else, but that registration expired in March (8th, to be exact). They haven't renewed it, but I can't register it for myself. I've tried multiple domain registration sites, and none of them will allow me to register it. Any ideas?

In case you want to check it out for yourself, and make sure that I'm not messing up, the domain I want it barrelmaker.com .

Hi Tim

The expiration and subsequent deletion of expired domains varies with the registrar. Usually, the previous owners have 40 days to pay and continue, after which the domain is deleted from the registration system. However, NetSol usually keeps them longer than that.

You just have to keep trying as time passes and wait until it is deleted.

Also, I don't think it's a good idea to list the domain on a public forum since some person with a malicious intent may register it before you do.
