WWIII posts all over Facebook because Iran but i think it's within the realm of possibility that Trump will launch Nukes if he loses the 2020 election

True irony here is that most of the OMG WWIII posts on FB are coming from the conservatives. But anyway...
The Selective Service website apparently crashed from people panicking over false social media narratives around WW3 and the draft.

Yup. My anecdote is the most conservative family member I have is a Facebook maniac. Most posts are politically motivated, attacking anything not christian conservative.

Don’t watch Fox, or any cable news for that matter. My morning routine is usually NY Times and WAPO, and I tend to like the topical editorials on Atlantic and the New Yorker. This is going to blow your mind, but some of these sources occasionally post articles and opinions that a Trump supporter might find agreeable.

Believe it or not, your typical elitist humblebragging does not blow my mind.

But remember, it's the 'the left' that is triggered and radical and violent and hates free speech, and not the millions of FB 'patriots' who every day threaten to '2a' anyone who says anything they disagree with, or to start a civil war against anyone who dares to be 'biased' against Dear Leader.

Yes, press the people that the administration has routinely blocked from testifying, that will surely work well. A few people have stood up, but a lot of people follow the orders handed down by the branch that employs them.
I would expect that the generation of officers who have spent their entire careers over multiple deployments trying to build some semblance of stability in the Middle East are none too happy that a draft dodging cheeto destroyed all they worked to accomplish with one impetuous drone strike.

So you are defending the guy that universally has been condemned as being a terrorists mastermind?

The same logic was used for the Iraq War. There's one really bad guy, why are you defending him? Who cares if a million civilians get killed afterwards, how dare you defend one bad guy? Stubborn adherence to tribal logic shows us who learns lessons from bad decisions, and who never learns their lesson.

Given that pcgeek went with the same talking point at almost the same time, I'm going with it was just on Fox & Friends.

I was posting in response to soundforbjt who brought up the quagmire....

Holy smokes. TDS is reaching new heights. Progressheviks are losing their minds because Trump dare stand up to Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea.
So you are defending the guy who opined killing someone in the street of NYC as not being possible. You are clearly the deranged one. Or the stupid one. You pick.

I posted this thread a while ago. Experts on nuclear weapons and their deployment on Trump being in charge.

It depends on who is being killed.

As far as Soleimadi it was totally justified.
I am all for killing terrorist.

Except this terrorist also happened to be an Iranian General and not just some non-state actor.

Why do you think Bush let him go, knowing that 1 in 5 IEDs killing troops in Iraq came through his networks (and the most horrific IEDs at that?)

Why do you think Obama let him go when he flew to Assad’s side and made Syria unwinnable for the opposition forces?

Because they are idiots that allowed this terrorist to continue killing Americans. Or they are cowards and afraid of Iran.
