Old WWF was the best. Hogan, Andre, Junkyard Dog, Ultimate Warrior, beloved patriot Tonk Man, Iron Sheik, etc. That was wrestling's golden years. The old WCW (wasn't there some NWA affiliation then?) with Sting and Flair in their primes created some of the greatest pure wrestling matches ever. ECW was pretty awesome until the big 2 started pilfering *everyone* from their lineup. Alot of big names like Benoit, Mick Folley, and Jericho got their start in ECW, but ECW was still going strong after they left with people like Sandman, Sabu, and Rob Van Damn. Those hardcore matches were just stunning, and I don't think even now the hardcore stuff is as hardcore. I've since lost interest in wrestling around the time WWF changed their name to WWE, but I still maintain that the late 80's, early 90's WWF period was the glory days of wrestling. 90,000 people in the Pontiac Superdome watching Hogan take the title from Andre the Giant can't be beat.
