Nah, I'm talking about being pretentious and smug because it's the only way you can justify spending much more money on the same product because you think the apple logo makes it a status symbol. While there are plenty of people like that it sounds to me like you just have some sort of inferiority complex because you're going off on a tangent about apple users and no one has really made any statements about apple being better. i suggest taking pictures of the new computer & posting that along with any
documentation of the MacBooks you returned.

then make a simple website, and post the pics. be nice, don't flame -
just ask for a MacBook that has decent keys, etc.

then post the URL on the AAPL investor website at Yahoo

i was double-billed for an HP scanner about 5 years ago and their
organization was not capable of fixing it. i posted the details on the
HP message board & the situation got fixed right fast, by one of Carly
Fiorina's assistants.

another friend did this with a publicly held LASIK company. their top "doctor"
told him they could fix his initial bad outcome from LASIK & the friend ended
up needing a corneal transplant. he presented these details on their stock
board & their stock went from 7 to 1. medically, they were unable to help him.
he also happens to be a programmer/ programming manager.
