So I'm still limping along with an SDTV, but it's slowly dying and I expect in the next year or so, we'll finally get a new TV.
Welcome to the new century, right? Well, before I can pull the trigger, I need to figure out how to modify my built in entertainment center. I'm thinking I can fit like a 42" HDTV in the spot where the current set is now, if I remove one of the dividers on one side or the other. I'm thinking the right side.
All my AV stuff is in the tall cabinet to the left. The door on the left leads outside, the door on the right leads to the garage. The room's pretty bright - 2 large bays of windows. Sitting on the couch, your head's about 11-12 feet from where the screen is now.
So am I overlooking anything especially stupid? Should I shift left instead of right for any reason?
