WW2 Footage

Anyone know where I could find some decent resolution World War 2- era footage. Preferably Nazi Germany and Holocaust video. I'm making a short film about hate and violence and need to find the footage rather soon so that I can complete the movie. Does anybody know of a site that has archival footage available for download for free?

Dont know where you can download any, but The History Channel seems to always have some good WWII stuff on. Just hit record.

384th bombgroup website has a "real stories" section from some folks that are still alive.

Rent Nuremberg. HD Net's been showing that this month and they show quite a few clips of findings at concentration camps.

This is all I could find and the quality sucks, and will never work for your film. You may be stuck buying/renting something, seems like free footage is hard to find.

btw- this is on my webserver since the original site was sooo slow, so I'll remove it soon in case theres a copyright issue.

Interesting coinidence. I've recently done a few searches on this subject for myself and haven't come up with anything but some awful streamed videos so far that are very short and not really what I was looking for. Good luck and let me know what, if anything you come up with.
