Clerks is where Jay and Silent Bob first appeared. It's black and white, but it's funny as sex with dead ppl. That's pretty funny.

I guess I am not a big fan of those guys. I got at best three laughs from watching J and B strike back. I enjoyed Dogma and Chasing Amy but then they only had support roles in those movies.

Dogma...BECAUSE they only had supporting roles...them having main roles is boring because they get old very quickly...

Silent Bob: NO TICKET!

You have to be kidding. That show sucked.

It's a hard tie between Clerks and Mallrats, just watch Mallrats. Kevin Smith is an inspiring screenwriter.

But is it me or do his characters talk a little above their level if you know what I mean? I mean, I never hear dialogue like that in real life. Sure it's funny but not very realistic.

you really have to watch all the new jersey movies to really *get* jay and silent bob strike back. it becomes infinitely funny after you've seen mallrats, and i guess everything else

Well yea. "Want a chocolate pretzel?" makes no sense unless you've seen Mallrats. That seemed so completely random in the Strikes back movie. I'm sure some people were like "WTF?"
