Wuts wrong with my computer?

I boot up my comp and my desktop and everything loads but i cannot open any programs for about 3mins. When i go to my computer it has the flashlight searching for c drive and that other stuff. I also get a BSOD. And when i go into CS and DoD theres white lines and stuff across screen. Ive tried virus scans and registry scans but no luck. Any ideas on wut could be the problem? i know its some sorta faulty hardware jsut cant pin point it.

Try running scandisk? Might be bad sectors or something similar. Also, what stop codes are you getting on the BSODs?

i did chkdsk. found a problem with the file system.
