wuts wrong wiht my x 1900 grafix card???

hi i bauhgt a sweet new grfx card the x 1900 from ati and now -- it only runs at 500 megahurtz??? is this not suposed to be much much faster like at 600+? HELP PLZ? THANX

Those are 2D clocks I believe so at the desktop it runs at 500MHz. When you start a game it should jump up to 625MHz or around there.

One more note.
If you are using ATI tool and you are disabling the 2d clocks be sure to have your card at the rated 3d speed for core/mem

Oh and yes I agree as always we need a sticky for this stuff

LOL who said it wasn't? I was using this as a social experiment to test the hypothesis that the x1900 2d-clock question will be given an immediate canned answer in spite of who asks it.

And yes I vote for sticky. Mods, if you are listening, we need a sticky!
