Wussy Halloween

JoeKing

Lifer
It's 8pm and hardly any kids are trick or treating. I've got all of these cool sound and light effects setup and hardly anyone has come knocking. What's up with that? Is it a low showing everywhere else also?

<geezer mode>
Back in my day there used to be droves of kiddies going from house to house. WTF happened?

we only had ~ 15 kids...I bought $30. of candy from costco...wtf am I going to do with all this candy now...where were all the kids?

I'm not THAT old or perverse.... Brunksted already has that niche well filled 😛

BK would be a more of a drunken and senile old man, if his jokes were any indicator 😛

Same here.. halloween is boring this year.. I wonder if its because of all this terrorism crap that the news is reporting.

where in CA r u?

had a bunch of kids in my apt complex

central valley, fairly small town near fresno. I think I've seen more cop cars drive by than trick or treaters. Good thing I guess but where's the fun!!!??!!!! Poor kids, I used to love getting the crap scared out of me at various houses. 🙁

Sweet a group just pulled up in a van. Damn didn't know 10 year olds could drive :Q

--edit--
bahahaha scaring little kids is fun. The auto strobe and the ghost sounds always get them 😀
I don't feel bad about it cause I'm giving out regular sized candy bars.

My daughter was able to get 5 Lbs. worth of candy. The neighborhood/community that she went to where her friend lives is very family oriented. However, our friends thought that there were less children going around when compared to last year - but, they did give out well over 100 individual treat bags before switching over to the reserve candy.

The   award goes to the family that was taping small Hershey bars to some christian-based comics. I can't stand when others try to force their beliefs on others. 🙁

My house is on a dead end street so we've never gotten more than 5 or 6 trick or treaters so my family usually buys one bag of candy that we like and just give out however much we need to and eat the rest

Meh just tape it on their door before you tp their house.

I had hardly any too. I am not that old but back when I was a kid it was not uncommon to come home with 20 pounds of candy - we would start an hour before the sun went down and come back as late as possible.

The wussification of halloween has begun.
